We want your experience to be unforgettable. Please fill out our BOOKING FORM and ensure that all your details are correct. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us—we are always here to help!
Scroll down and complete the booking form. Select your Machu Picchu trek, choose your preferred date and an alternative date. One person can fill out the form for the whole group. Please have your passport ready—your details must match exactly.
To secure your Inca Trail or Machu Picchu trek, a deposit is required. You can pay via Direct Wire Transfer or PayPal. Once the deposit is received, we will begin processing your permits and reservations. Machu Picchu Availability is limited, so early booking is highly recommended.
After completing your payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice and booking details. Please review all the information carefully and keep it for your records. This document confirms that your trip has been successfully reserved.
Please know that if you are booking with a passport that is set to expire within 06 months of your planned entry date to Peru, you will be required to renew your passport before coming to Peru. Peru authorities will not grant you entry to the country otherwise.
If you are booking your trek with us, and this is your case, please know you will be able to book with us to secure your Inca Trail permits and tickets to Machu Picchu.
However, you will be required to renew your passport and update your passport details with us prior to your trip to Peru. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of your reserved permits, and tickets to Machu Picchu.
To protect your travel investment, we highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip. It provides peace of mind and financial protection in case of unexpected events such as trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, lost luggage, or changes to your itinerary.
Arranging travel insurance in advance is simple and highly advisable. A good policy ensures that you are covered while exploring Peru, especially during trekking adventures in remote areas where access to medical assistance may be limited.
While travel insurance is not mandatory, it is an important safeguard that allows you to travel with confidence and fully enjoy your experience with Tunqui Expeditions.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking with Tunqui Expeditions.
Payments by credit/debit card or PayPal include a 5.5% processing fee.
Please notify us if paying by wire transfer. All deposits are fully non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that you need to cancel your trip, cancellation fees will be assessed as outlined below under our cancellation policy.
If canceling, you may not transfer your deposit to another person’s trek.

Alternatively, you may pay in advance by:
At our office, we accept U.S. dollars and Peruvian soles in any denomination. Please ensure all bills are in good condition, as we do not accept torn or damaged notes.
If you will not arrive in Cusco at least 2 days before your tour, please coordinate your payment in advance with the Tunqui team..
For more details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions at the following link: Terms and Conditions.
We charge these fees because there are a great deal of expenses that Tunqui pays to set up these tours. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions. We would be happy to supply a letter for your insurance company to help recover some of the cost.
Inca Trail permits are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
Each permit is issued under the trekker’s full name and passport number, and cannot be changed or reassigned under any circumstances. For this reason, it is essential that all personal information provided at the time of booking is accurate and matches your passport exactly.

Important Dates & Notes
At Tunqui Expeditions, we believe in creating truly personal and meaningful experiences. That’s why we keep our groups small, with a maximum of 8 Hikers, accompanied by 2 expert indigenous guides who share deep knowledge of the Andes, culture, and traditions.
This small-group approach allows for better attention, a safer journey, and a more authentic connection with the places you visit. You’ll have time to explore at your own pace, ask questions, and fully enjoy every moment of your adventure.
For families or private groups of more than 8 people, we are happy to organize customized tours tailored to your needs, ensuring the same high-quality service and personalized experience.
