Physical Ratings
Each of our trips comes with an attached physical rating. These are not complete breakdowns, just handy little guides so you can tell at a glance whether a trip is right for you. The more stars, the more challenging. Simple.
Physical Ratings
The physical rating gives you an idea of how much physical effort is required for a particular trip. Most of our itineraries are designed for people with an average fitness level, but there are some specialized tours (such as trekking in the Himalayas or cycling through Vietnam) that require some prior training.
- 1 out of 5 – These trips are a relaxing getaway. You don’t have to worry about doing anything physically demanding unless you choose to.
- 2 out of 5 – Some light physical activities are included in your trip. No physical preparation is required to fully enjoy the experience.
- 3 out of 5 – This trip will get your heart rate up. Moderate physical activities are included, and a good level of fitness is required.
- 4 out of 5 – Be prepared for some intense physical activity. The fitter you are, the more you’ll enjoy it, as most activities will be challenging.
- 5 out of 5 – Our highest physical rating. Get ready for a fast-paced adventure with many challenges and some extreme conditions. You will need to be in good physical shape for this trip, as it includes demanding activities.
