This is a unique experience for an adventurer, enjoy nature in its state of creation, how the earth was created. We will pass through one of the best known mountain ranges of Cusco (AUSANGATE). We will have a 5 – 6 hour walk visiting the 7 lagoons of Ausangate Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha and Q’omercocha, we will also be able to appreciate the Ausangate Mountain Range, we will also see birds, alpacas, llamas, many vizcachas, After making a circuit we will return to Pacchanta to enjoy the hot springs.
Cusco to Pacchanta
We will head towards the beautiful community of Pacchanta, during a trip of approximately 3 hours, in which we will have the opportunity to appreciate the impressive flora and fauna of the high Andean landscapes.
Once in Pacchanta, we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast typical of the region. We will have a short break during which our guide will give us detailed information about the adventure that is about to begin.
Ausangate 7 Lakes Trek
After breakfast, we will continue with our walking tour of the 7 Ausangate Lagoons. The route covers approximately 7.5 km and will take us around five hours to explore. During this time, we will visit the Azulqocha, Orco Otorongo, China Otorongo, Puqacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha and Patacocha lagoons, and we will marvel at the view of the majestic mountains such as Ausangate, Mariposa, Jampa, Pucapunta, Caracol and Tinke. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to observe native birds, alpacas, llamas, vizcachas and, with a little luck, the majestic Andean condor.
At the end of the lagoon circuit, we will return to Pacchanta where we will enjoy a delicious local lunch. Afterwards, we will relax in the community’s medicinal hot springs, recovering and recharging energy after a day of incredible discoveries in the Andes. We will then make our way back to Cusco

Can I store my luggage at your office?

During the trip, your main luggage can be stored at our office (you can organize it with us on the briefing day or by email) or at your hotel, both free of charge.
Any equipment that you won’t need on the trek can be stored safely in your hotel. Nearly every hotel will provide this service. Don’t leave items of value with your bags; put them in the hotel safe and obtain an itemized receipt (in the unlikely case of theft, many insurance companies require that you have a copy of the receipt itemizing everything). It’s best to put items such as credit cards inside a sealed, signed envelope for extra peace of mind.

Strikes and demonstrations
Strikes and demonstrations are common in Peru, and this may interrupt some of our tours. Roads can be blocked, and train tracks can be taken over. However, we will try to keep your trip as originally planned, even if it means leaving the night before the scheduled date.
Under these circumstances, tours may also be canceled. In case of changes or cancellations, everything will be coordinated with you by our operations department. Your safety is our highest priority, and our decisions will be made to protect it.
Lost objects
