At Tunqui Expeditions, responsible tourism begins with operating legally, professionally, and with respect for the places and people that make every journey possible.
We are a 100% Peruvian company based in Cusco and an authorized Inca Trail operator, operating in accordance with the regulations and requirements established for tourism activities within the protected Inca Trail network. As a formal local operator, we take responsibility for every aspect of our operations—from our guides, chefs, porters, and trekking teams to logistics, safety, environmental practices, and the proper management of our journeys through protected areas.
Our commitment extends beyond the trail. We work responsibly across the trekking routes and Andean communities where we operate, respecting local traditions, protecting the natural environment, supporting fair working conditions, and maintaining the required authorizations for our tourism activities. For us, compliance is not simply a requirement. It is part of our commitment to our travelers, our team, our communities, and the Andes we call home.
