Arrival in Cusco & Private City Tour

Welcome to Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, your private Tunqui Expeditions representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the historic center.

During the drive, admire Cusco’s remarkable blend of Inca stonework and Spanish colonial architecture. After checking in and taking time to rest, begin a private guided City Tour with your expert local guide.

Discover the Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial art and history located on the Plaza de Armas. Continue to the sacred temple of Coricancha, once the most important religious center of the Inca Empire, where finely crafted Inca walls meet the colonial Santo Domingo convent.
