Prepare Before You Depart

Please read all the information below carefully, as it is designed to help you have a smooth travel experience.

One of our core values is leading with service. Our Global Connection Officers (GCOs)—the people who assist you when you call us—and our partner travel agents will do their best to provide you with the latest information before your trip. However, some responsibilities fall directly on the traveler.

All Tunqui Expeditions travelers are responsible for organizing and obtaining the required entry documentation for the countries they intend to visit.

Important Travel Considerations

Due to efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, entry requirements and restrictions imposed by foreign governments may change frequently, regardless of your planned travel date.

These requirements and restrictions may depend on various factors, such as:

Your country of residence
Passport nationality
Travel destinations and transit points
Your previous travel history

Given these considerations, it is the traveler’s responsibility to research and understand the latest health and travel requirements for their destinations before traveling.

Stay updated on any changes to these requirements before your trip!

Key Considerations:

Check the latest health and travel restrictions for all destinations, including return travel—not just your departure country.
Do not book your international flights before doing your own research or consulting with one of our GCOs or your travel agent. You may need to book additional nights before your return flight to accommodate COVID-19 testing requirements.
If your itinerary includes multiple countries, be aware that additional entry requirements may apply. Make sure to verify all necessary documentation.
If traveling with minors (under 18 years old), you may need to provide additional documentation to enter the destination country. Contact the Embassy for more details.

Taking these precautions will help ensure a hassle-free travel experience!
